About Us
Founded in 2014, The Breakfast Revolution is the flagship project of Decimal Foundation in India, and is registered as its own Charity entity (501C3) in America. For the cost of a small cup of coffee (Rs.260 or $3) you could help us feed a child every day for an entire month!
I’ve seen children walk into classrooms on empty stomachs. Hungry, distracted, unable to learn. I’ve seen mothers struggling to give their children the nourishment they themselves never had. This is not just about food – it’s about futures stolen too soon.
At The Breakfast Revolution, we believe a simple, nutritious meal can change everything. It fuels a child’s body, sharpens their mind, and gives mothers hope that their children will grow healthy and strong.
We fight morning hunger and malnutrition because no child should be denied the chance to learn, to grow, and to dream—simply for lack of breakfast.
Join us, and together we can give every child the healthy start they deserve.

Our Vision and Mission
Vision
We envision an India where every individual, sick or well, has meaningful access to information and foods to fight morning hunger and malnutrition
Mission
The Breakfast Revolution’s mission is to reduce morning hunger and malnutrition at scale – by combining food, health, and nutrition literacy – to reach one million people in India by 2030.
#LetsEndMalnutrition
Malnutrition is one of the greatest threats to India’s children. It weakens immunity, stunts growth, and robs children of their ability to learn and thrive. India faces a triple burden of malnutrition — undernutrition, micronutrient deficiencies, and rising childhood obesity. Together, these challenges threaten not just survival, but the health, learning, and potential of an entire generation.
TBR's model is a multi-faceted approach to tackling morning hunger and malnutrition in India
Our program is backed by data, and with stakeholders working together it becomes so much easier to impact a larger audience every year.
